Bio

Farzaneh is a PhD candidate in Geography at UC Davis. She has a B.S. in architecture and a master's in landscape architecture, which drove her current interdisciplinary research. Currently, she is pursuing research that intersects feminism, environmental psychology, and transportation equity. She studies Capital Corridor railway stations in Northern California, focusing on women’s perceived access. She believes that improvements in transit station design, connectivity, services, and amenities at the stations can help enhance their transit access and motivate their future ridership.
